New Learner Permits

A short update on the RSA's plans for the introduction of the new Plastic Card Driving Licence. The main points are as follows;

• On 19 January plastic cards licences and permits will issue to the public

• No licences will issue in the week between 12-19 January to prepare the transition from paper to plastic.

• Fees for licences are increasing as and from 1 January 2013

• By September 2013 the new service will be delivered under the banner of the National Driver Licence Service.
